As a youth I enjoyed creating architectural drawings. Diminishing perspectives were my favorites. I also tried my hand at landscapes. However what really motivated me the most was the awesome scenery of the desert southwest, especially New Mexico. The high plains present their own diminishing perspectives in desert colors.The cumulus-nimbus clouds, and awesome skies, motivated me to try my hand at skyscape painting to capture this beautiful expanse.
