Artist's Description
The picture shows the overflow pipe which carries water from the marine lake when there has been heavy rain fall. Not the most glamorous of jobs but it is a great looking structure and certainly one of the most famous landmarks along the beach. This shot offers an alternative beach shot from the usual golden sands and creates a real statement.

I am a photographer, architect and all round designer based in Liverpool, UK. I love long walks out in the open come sun, rain or snow - which is lucky as I live with the UK climate!! I love to photograph anything from flowers to sky scrapers but my true love is shooting the UK's beaches, I am lucky to live close to so many fine examples each with there own character.
