About Metal Prints

Front View

Back View

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Metal prints are extremely durable.   They're lightweight.  They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Curandera is a Spanish word, meaning healer. It was inspired in part by Black Mesa, New Mexico, a large, round sheer-sided mesa. There, long ago, Pueblo people successfully resisted conquistadors. The stone and Black Mesa share a similar profile. Artwork began emerging from the marvelous stones and my persistence despite my inexperience and many mistakes, and, each stone taught me something so eventually I discovered solutions to the challenges in my opportunities. I practice "direct" carving. This approach lets the stone guide the outcome of the work as I assist and observe the stone becoming its essence. (“Indirect” sculpting begins with a preconceived image, a drawing or a...
