I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

We were down at the beach in Santa Monica, near to the pier. The kids were getting along for once and decided to walk together down near the water. The older one brought a towel. The sun was getting low and the fog was coming in. Almost time to leave.
About Ian Donley
I grew up in Ventura, California where I spent most of my time at the beach. I was a lifeguard for 13 years on the beaches of Ventura and Carpinteria. I've always been attracted to the water and the beauty of nature. I've been an amateur photographer for many years. A few years ago, I moved to the Portland, Oregon area with my wife and kids and it was there that I was inspired to begin painting. Currently we live in the Ventura area and I continue to paint.
