This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. We have been furnishing a missionary apartment and as soon as I saw this picture I knew it was the one! I know it will minister to each missionary that stays in our apartment just like it ministers to me.

She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.
Artist's Description
This original piece was painted on separate sheets of paper and then joined together to create the whole piece. This image was also chosen and published as a cover of the college magazine. This is one of my favorite pieces. This was drawn and colored very intuitively and meditatively. I named it "Dancing tree of life" because I see it as a plant, tree form with a dancing form that has a seedling (life) in its womb. Dancing figure was juxtaposed in front of a colorful sky to represent the joy, love, laughter, happiness, sadness, passion, feeling, emotion in life and the dancing tree of life dances everything away taking-in/absorbing everything in the first moment and letting go in the next so it can keep flowing, keep dancing, keep living. Thats the message it wants to project to each being so we are not stuck because we tend to hold on to anything tangible or intangible either its material, or relationships or beliefs and when we do we stagnate our energy, that makes us stop flowing. About Mukta Gupta
I was born in small town in India, at the border of a northwestern desert state of Rajasthan. At an early age, the vibrant colors and sweet melodies of nature and nomadic gypsies, called Banjaras, influencing my inner as well as outer world. My Banjara existence yearned for stability, at least in my inner being as I found it nonexistent in the outer world for obvious reasons of inherent uncertainty, being the very nature of our physical material world. My art was born out of the need to create symmetry out of asymmetry, harmony out of disharmony and order out of chaos in the explosively violent world where life itself has become an industrial commodity to satisfy the lust of the consumer, capitalistic world overpowered by the greed,...
