The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

On a trip out west to visit friends we stopped for a few days to tour Deadwood South Dakota. This photo captures the feel of the old frontier town on a warm summers night. Sitting on a bench taking it all in I wondered what it must have been like when the famous gunfighters walked this street.
About Liz Evensen
Creating art is a joy for me and leaves me with a tremendous sense of fulfillment. Just the smell of oil paint evokes in me an overwhelming desire to pick up a brush. Many artists will say they lose all awareness of time once they start painting. Only until their body tells them it's time to quit, do they finally concede. I'm no different. Often, I find myself going to bed as the morning light dawns. Producing a work of art is an adventure. I have an idea where I'm headed, but it's never exactly the same as what I have pictured in my mind. Painting is a journey of learning and discovery just waiting for the outcome to be revealed. Who doesn't love to get to the last page of a novel or the final scene in a movie to find out how...
