This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
Cover art created for a board game called "Blue Max". The Red Baron was never shot down, but he died after being shot by a single .303 bullet.
It entered from below the aircraft, through his ribs, through the heart, and the bullet had then just enough energy left to leave his torso and was found later inside his tunic.
He remained alive to land the aircraft intact, and died virtually after the landing.
The shot was not from an aircraft, although a couple of allied countries tried to claim his death as an aerial victory by one of their own pilots.
He was shot by Australian soldiers from the 4th Machine Gun battalion.
The initial confusing factor was that both Aircraft and Soldiers used the same type of ammunition, the .303.
I'll upload all the cover roughs on my website that didn't make the cut. www.kmistudio.com Thank you for viewing.
