This is a painting I did in the late 1990's. If you are a local of the Dillion Beach, California area you remember when the Lawson family owned the vintage local store. I'm not sure if it's still the case, but cows had free range and were often scene loitering on the beach.
Kathryn LeMieux, is a native of the State of Washington and currently lives in Tomales, California. She studied painting and printmaking at Western Washington University. She worked as a cartoonist and graphic artist for many years and now paints full time, mostly in oils.
She also uses new media digital techniques to create uniquely surreal prints from a personal collection of 19th century photographs.
She is represented by the Bodega Landmark Studio Gallery in Bodega California.
