I look out over this from our balcony every day, the scene changes daily with different ships loading and unloading, the cranes sometimes sitting up reaching into the sky and sometimes bent down when loading a ship. A hive of activity, ocean, and structure - this place always intrigues me.

Sallie-Anne Swift

Sallie-Anne Swift was born in Melbourne, Australia, she spent a year in Utah, USA in 1974 as an exchange student in her sophomore year. It was here that she met her art teacher, "Roger Cushing". Sallie was quickly placed into the Senior Year Art Class where she could foster and grow her talent. At the completion of her student year and senior art class, she won an Art Scholarship to the University of Utah but was too young to accept the scholarship. She returned to Australia in 1975. Upon her return to Australia she obtained her degree in Graphic Design and commenced working. In 1976 she was one of 21 students to be offered a place with the Melbourne School of Fine Art but declined the offer to continue her carrier as a Graphic...
