This lovely wild dogwood blossom is on a tree near the pond where I've spent many happy hours shooting wild birds and waterfowl.
Shot with the Nikon D40x and the 55-200mm VR Nikon lens. Shutter speed 1/1250, aperture f/5.6, exposure 0.00, iso 400. Light texture added in Photoshop and use of levels and curves. My thanks to Princess of Shadows at Deviant art for the texture.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories.
