Luke, this is fantastic! Thanks to your wonderful point of view (I'm not sure how you achieved it safely), it feels like I really had better not look down :) Nice work! F/V

Luke Moore replied:

I had to reach out the window pretty far :) Luckily at that time I had a small point and shoot, it was a lot easier to manage a feat like that. At one point I was on the very back... on the caboose taking some photographs. That was one neat steam engine ride.

Wow! Very cool capture and don't lean too far over! lol F/V

Luke Moore replied:

Thank you Jim! Can't wait to get back out that way. Very beautiful!

Whoa ... I looked down. That is a crazy ride for sure. vote

Luke Moore replied:

Much appreciated Gwyn!

Very cool POV! v/f

Luke Moore replied:

Thank you Mitch!

It was quite fun Tim:) A little scary on some parts :) I don't know much about trains but let me know if your friend has any questions or whatever. Really appreciate the comment Tim.

I get vertigo just looking at this. I'm with John on this one. A very well timed shot. I'd love to take that myself. Gonna refer this page to a friend into trains who is building an N scale model of Stanwood, WA circa 1950s when he was growing up there. f/v

It was really cool! Something I enjoyed thoroughly and would do again. The steam engine was really neat too. How it pulled up some of those hills and around the bends and such. I was hanging out of the caboose window for a few shots

Well timed shot, that must have been a fun ride.
