About Edmund Akers
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, I am what you could classify as a true Florida Native, having spent countless hours boating, fishing, jet-skiing the waterways around the greater jacksonville area, including the St. Johns Rivers, Lake Asbury, Doctor's Lake, Black Creek and other secluding fishing holes. My love for nature is hopefully evident in my original artwork and photography. I have been an avid Antiques Collector and Antique Dealer for over 20 years and have a huge interest in Historic Preservation, evident by my involvement in my local Springfield Historic District and renovation of an 1890's Victorian Home. I am also an avid Art Collector and my personal tastes include traditional and contemporary modes of painting...
