Dragon in a bathtub. I made the floor to go with this piece also. The tub cracked in the kiln, so decided to go with the theory that the dragon was too big for the tub and broke it. The water is colored resin which worked well to show off the crack in the tub.
I am a self taught artist, I have been involved in Art since I was a small child. I always have an Art project going on, as a hobby. I have drawn or painted on just about everything from: Pictures on Cakes, Lettering and Pictures on Cars, Trucks, Boats, and Propane Tanks, Oil paintings, Sign Lettering including Pictures, Wooden Cartoon Character Wall Hangings and Wooden Puzzles. Several years back I tried my hand at different Clay Sculptures, then Hand Carving on Wood, to Dremel Carving on Wood. Most recently I have been doing Pyrography with Acrylic Painting and Glass Etching.
