The colors of the trees caught my attention. Druid Hill Park is a 745-acre (3.01 km2) urban park in northwest Baltimore, Maryland. Its boundaries are marked by Druid Park Drive (north), Swann Drive and Reisterstown Road (west and south), and the Jones Falls Expressway (east). Opened in 1860, Druid Hill Park ranks with Central Park (begun in 1858) in New York and Fairmount Park (1812) in Philadelphia as the oldest landscaped public parks in the United States.

As a fine art photographer, I have found inspiration in the inner cities for many of my subjects. When traveling I like to capture an image that snatches my attention. My interest in the ordinary still intrigues me. I focus is on my immediate surroundings. There is beauty all around us--whether evolved from nature or made by human effort. I appreciate the complex interweaving between the individual, society and environment. A few years ago, I have found myself managing City Farm Program for Baltimore City.
