A few years ago I put together a mask and some found parts as you see in the artwork and then had four people pour silver paint from four corners of a deep rusty pan until we covered the entire arrangement of parts. I recorded this with my video camera and on my editing system then played the sequence backwords to create a fantastic 3D effect for a client. This artwork is the result of a still frame I took from the finishd video just before we poured the paint...I like the effect, especially in the video when played in slow motion....
