Based on a vintage color photo by photographer, Mark Sherwood, for the office of War Information during the early years of World War II in America. This P-51 Mustang fighter plane is apparently in the skies somewhere above Inglewood, California.

This Mustang was part of an early production shipment to the RAF in Great Britain and is in RAF colors except for the US Army Air Forces insignia. It's an amazing peek into the early war years and what was then leading edge armament.
