The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. A quick update: Proud to announce that "Early Morning Edinburgh" won first place in the "Scotland - That Different Image" contest held by the Fine Art America group, "The Beauty of Scotland" April 25, 2013. Congratulations, Rich!!!
I post this image with great pride as it was taken by my son, Rich Bryan, during his semester abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland ... from which he returns tomorrow, May 23, 2012. He has taken to photography with great passion. The image was taken with my Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm Nikon lens. I had a lot of fun tinkering with this one in Photomatix for HDR and in Photoshop CS4. If I'm unable to convince him to open his own FAA account, I'll open a new gallery just for our collaborations. Hope you enjoy.
