This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
What was interesting about this painting was that I did not plan to paint this, this painting started off as a woman, but the woman's face did not proceed further than the initial charcoal drawing I did, but the more I painted, this image of Jesus that I have held in my mind for many years since childhood started to appear on the canvas and I knew then that I was doing a portrait of Him. The purple/blue (which looks blue in the photo) in the portrait is symbolic of the purple cloak that his persecutor's placed on him before his crucifixion.
