About Metal Prints

Front View

Back View

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Metal prints are extremely durable.   They're lightweight.  They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The way the dyes mix and move around in the boundaries created by the wax. Salt creates a unique effect as well. When the piece is finished, the wax is removed. I then stretch the silk on foamcore using linen tape. I use only high quality...

About the Artist - Carolyn Doe

Carolyn Doe

I grew up in a family where being creative was encouraged. As well as getting out in nature...which wasn't always possible in suburban ohio. So these two elements have been a constant in my life; creativity and the natural world. I have been blessed to be able to travel and work in remote and beautiful areas of the world. Which become the inspiration for my artwork. I am self taught in both batik (23 years) and watercolor (8 years) And have recently learned Oil painting using palette knives. Way cool! Batik is the process of using wax and dyes to create designs on fabric. Wax is heated in a tool called a tjanting and then passes thru a copper or metal tube on to the fabric.
