This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

Art is an integral part of my life. When working on a piece, I am completely engaged in the process. In order to keep my subject matter fresh and exciting, I frequently get the urge to experiment with different mediums and techniques, changing my themes depending on the time of year, location or inclination. A common thread of my work might include reflections, particularly water reflections and the interplay of light and shadow.
