Artist's Description
This is one of a series of digital montages where disparate objects are placed in a surreal setting to tell an unlikely story or event.
A space walking Albert Einstein, who never could tie a good knot, finds re-entry approaching fast.
Source Images: Einstein is a brilliant statue photographed in a park in Washington DC, the Apollo capsule and manhole cover were photographed at Cape Kennedy Florida and sky from a plane window at sunset. All were taken on a recent holiday to the USA. Every image used in all of my art is shot by me.
About Chas Hauxby
I was born in Northern England and have lived in Western Australia for the last twenty years. I am a photographer, painter, have run a successful screen printing business, sculptor, etcher and more recently creator and seller high resolution digital images. I have numerous works with commissioned clients, odd pieces in exhibitions and enjoy entering art competitions. I believe that art should be bold, say something; make the viewer think, cry, laugh, get angry... in short evoke an emotional response to the spirit in which the art was intended and created. Some of my works are consequently very confrontational. I love satire, and believe it to be one of the few ways that politicians in particular can be made to answer for their stupidity...

Like this very much Chas...you are clever. I remember reading Einstein lived long enough to regret his scientific breakthrough when he saw what it had been used for. ...what a dreadful thing to live with. l/f
