The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Enkephalin crystals, polarised light micrograph. Enkephalin is an endorphin found in the human brain. There are two variants Met-enkephalin (seen here), which contains the amino acid methionine, and Leu-enkephalin, which contains the amino acid leucine. Enkephalin is an opioid neurotransmitter (nerve signalling chemical) that has analgesic (painkilling) effects resembling those of the drugs morphine and codeine.
