About Carole R Moore
Carole Moore was raised amid the beauty of the New Hampshire seacoast and mountains. Her travels have taken her coast to coast, north to Alaska, south to Mexico and as far east as Japan, where she lived as an exchange student in the Kyoto, the city of temples. She is a self-taught artist, drawing on the incredible beauty of the natural world to create visual spaces of tranquility, harmony, and fluid grace. She now makes her home in San Francisco, where she can be found climbing its hills and painting in the city's amazing light. "It’s important to me to find the moments of peace and beauty in such a busy and troubled world, and my paintings are meant to create a space of refuge for the viewer."
