Another Ifugao Warrior that was a pleasure to photograph. Like the others he did not know his age. Today they grapple with the changes in the way life is lived by the younger people there. My guide, a relative of this man, is an example. He is college educated, speaks several languages and understands that the world is moving forward or let's say in a new direction.
But both this man and my guide were raised as warriors with a moral code few of us understand today, a strength few of us possess and a love of the environment most people do not even know exists.

In 1995 American Airlines sent me to Germany to photograph a story on the popularity of the American Cowboy in Germany. This job was fun and crazy. I met people that really wanted to be cowboys, some to the extent of building western towns and on weekends pretending to be just that, cowboys. Later that year they sent me to France to photograph a story on wine. It was an exciting assignment going up...
