I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

Artist's Description

This is the latest US Military air superiority combat aircraft. It is produced in 3 versions by Lockheed Martin. The standard version with standard landing gear will be used by the US Air Force, US Marines, and US Army. A version with much stronger landing gear and a tailhook will go to the US Navy for standard use on US aircraft carriers. The third version will have slow vertical take off and vertical landing capabilities. This version will go to the US Marines. In this capacity it will be used for slow take off and vertical landings aboard US Marine assault carriers. This is very likely the last manned air superiority fighter that will be manufactured in the United States. This fighter is built on a mile long assembly line in Texas. A bunch will be sold to allied countries around the world The aircraft was designed and constructed by Lockheed Martin a long time, highly respected, well known, combat aircraft manufacturer in the United States.

About L Brown

L Brown

I was born in San Jose, California in 1953. In 1954 we moved to the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. We moved again to the suburbs of Chicago in 1956. Due to my Dad’s employment, we moved to Pennsylvania in 1959, so I have lived Penna. in since then. I grew up on a small farm in Pennsylvania and was inducted into the National Honor Society in high school. I was on the Dean's List a few times and earned my degrees in biology and natural science at Muhlenberg College, a small liberal arts college in Allentown PA in the mid 70s. The art history course I took in my senior year at Muhlenberg College and did extremely well in, was very educational, and I enjoyed it. I went on to earn my doctorate in Philadelphia in the late 70s. I...
