During the 1984 Worlds Fair in New Orleans, Louisiana I worked part-time as a color film processor in the Italian Village I personally had access to anything within the World's Fair before it opened to the public. The owner of the film processing wanted to use my personal photos but I did not grant him use of them. The photos developed for customers were used as postcards. The 1984 New Orleans World's Fair by local and critics was a failure but other disagree. The image of the two sculptures bust were manufactured by famous float designer Blaine Kern.
While walking around taking personal photos of interest I came upon this very unique photographic image. The 1984 New Orleans Worlds Fair was the beginning of the redevelopment of the Historic Warehouse Area on the Riverfront area. Hello Cheri, yes it was an exciting time, I covered the worlds fair from top to bottom. Weekday I worked the after noon to closing, I had a full time from 7 to 3 then walked over to the fair and worked from about 4 to closing. Thank you so much for the comment nd the V, appreciate that, Michael
