Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. An American military transport aircraft, The Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar got its name from its unusual and large boxy fuselage which allowed it to carry large loads. The aircraft was adapted from the World War II-era Fairchild C-82 Packet, given many needed improvements including stronger engines and larger load carrying capabilities.
This is a very strange looking airplane, but a very interesting one as well. I like the frontal view best.
