Fairhill Farm is located about 6 miles outside the quaint little village of Hawthorne. Bright and early each morning Georgie Finchwater rises with the first call from her fussy rooster, Gilbert. Gilbert likes to strut back and forth each morning crowing his morning alarm. To most people this demanding morning ritual would be rather annoying; but Georgie loves her lifestyle in the country. Each morning she gathers eggs for her family and her customers. She cleans the eggs and gently places them in cartons stacking them in neat piles with a feeling of accomplishment. Take a stroll with me through whimsical folk art scenes depicting the lives of interesting people and their families, like 73 year old Mabel of Whitby Cottage who had to retire her bike to her garden. I enjoy writing simple stories about the everyday folk who inhabit these scenes. When you click on the scene, a little story tells you about the people who live there.
