About James Thomas
My mother inspired me to get into photography, and that is when I received my little baby blue 110mm camera when I was nine years old. On my sixteenth birthday I received a Canon Rebel SII, and that is what I used as my camera in high school, and while I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I spent a little over two years at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, learning many techniques, shortly before I was set to graduate, I received a internship in Washington, D.C. the summer of 1999. After my internship I transferred to the University of Dayton where I majored in General Studies, and minored in Photography.
