Artist's Description
This is one of the first photos I took when I started falling in love with wildlife photography. I was walking through the woods by the lake with my friend and we spotted 3 white tail deer. Two bucks and a doe. We stayed with them for some time before this one walked right in front of us to go over to the lake shore where he found some tasty leaves to snack on. He came so close to us that I probably could have reached out to pet him if I wanted too. He was a 10 point buck, still in full velvet. The second buck was a 4 pointer, also still in velvet.
This photo is one of my first and favorites. I call it "Fantasy Buck" because I feel like I am in a Disney fantasy movie when I look at it. It has a magical quality to it.
A touch of nature has a place in all of our lives. It brings a sense of peace and beauty to our homes. My goal is to bring nature to people who are unable to or can't find the time to get out and explore the natural world for themselves.
