Thank you, Donna. This was a real labor of love for me.

This so well done!!!! I love your work!!!

Taking the time to do something like this is one of the benefits of doing pen and ink when it comes off! Thank you for your comment!

Amazing work !!

Thank you, Lee-Ann- your stuff is great!! Drawing, especially at this level, seems to be a lost art. I am glad you stopped by and that you 'get it'!!

I saw your piece in the contest and was curious... and boy is this beautiful! Really controlled and delicate too. I am also a 'drawer' but my style is much looser. I wish we had a market as it is harder to sell. Ive never done a "show" - must give it a try. Good luck! I voted for this drawing

Thank you! This was one of my most involved and difficult pieces

Amazingly detailed work, Gary. Congrats on your First Place contest win. Please feel free to join the Contest Winners First Place on FineArtAmerica, if you haven't already and upload this image to the group. Gary Gackstatter replied:

Thanks, Kristin. Just joined the group! And thank you for your comments.

Sonny- Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I take your compliments to heart, especially after looking at your work, which is outstanding. Not very many of us pen-and-inkers around anymore! For most of the shows I enter, I'm usually the only pen-and-ink person in there, and often the only person who 'draws'. I would dearly love to connect with more Artists like yourself and get our artwork out to a bigger audience. Any ideas would be appreciated. Maybe we could do a show together sometime- I would be honored. Your work is fantastic- I can truly appreciate the amount of time and talent you have. THANK YOU again.

wow!

Gary Gackstatter replied:

Pauline- Thanks for looking at my drawings and for your kind words. Same back at you!!!
