Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Fatima became well known for her dancing routines at the Chicago Columbian Exposition in 1893, which honored the 400th anniversary of Columbus discovering America. Three years later Fatima appeared in Thomas Edison's one reel "Fatima's Coochee-Coochee Dance." Her dress in this painting defies gravity. The belly dancing craze must have reached Tombstone before the Exposition.
"The Bird Cage was named for the 14 bird cage compartments that are self suspended from the ceiling overhanging the gambling casino and dance hall." "She's only a bird in a gilded cage" refrain, from the popular song, has its origins in the Tombstone theater. The prostitutes displayed their charms in the cages.
One of them, Sadie Marcus, met Wyatt Earp at the Bird Cage.
She became his third wife and remained with him until his passing in 1929.
I first became obsessed with photography and motion pictures while growing up in post WW2 Manila in the Philippine Islands in the late 1940's/early 1950's. Film noirs were a particular influence. But my first love remains the theater. I acted in numerous amateur productions from 1958 to 1978. In 1979 I earned a MA in drama from the University of Arizona; earlier getting a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, where I co-founded the first film society on campus and ran it for four years. While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
