Faux Poste 0106547 metal print by Carol Leigh. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Artist's Description
For the past year I've been creating fictional postcards and am just now making them available on Fine Art America. The elements on this card come primarily from my own photographs, in this case, photos of ink stains, calligraphy, manila folders, postage stamps, foreign currency serial numbers, and much, much more. Each card takes hours to create, but is so much fun that I don't even notice the time going by. I hope you enjoy this card, and all the others to come, as much as I've enjoyed putting them together.

I'm a photographer, writer, educator based on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in photomontage work, combining photos I've taken of rust, walls, peeling paint, birds, postage stamps, trees, etc. into images that are completely new, different, and often weird. I also create physical collages, then find myself photographing parts of them to include in my photomontages. It's crazy, but it's fun!
