Artist's Description
This delicate fennel was placed next to the lettuces at the market and I was struck by the beautiful color combination. After painting it, the image was incomplete. The pen and ink added just the needed element.

Much like the curly leaf parsley... difficult to get right. However, If I had written anything, it would have been something nice.
