Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Myra Gallicker
I started out with a degree in Interior Design, in the 60's. Since then, I have practised as a craftsman/artist in various skills, mainly connected to textiles. In 2000 I went back to University to take a BA Hons in Fine art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, in Dundee, Scotland. I gained a First Class Hons. Since then I have been making work, including sculpture, print, photography and painting. I love experimenting with media and subject matter. At present I am exploring the notion of memory and craftsmanship, through our use of pattern. I am looking at designers, craftsmen and artists including William Morris, William Moorcroft, Medieval tapestries, Gustave Klimnt etc.. My work is constantly changing, but there are recuring...
