I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

If you saw a fire, you would open the door, pull the lever, a light would turn on, and a call would be made to the fire department. In those days people were a little more honest, they probably didn't pull them for fun like they would know.

My dad inherited this firebox from his dad after he passed away last month. He was a fireman for 47 years, 34 years of that spent as the fire chief of his town where my dad grew up. It makes me think of my grandfather with such great pride and obviously, the loss is still fresh so I feel sad when I look at this too.
