I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.
Watercolor of a stand of orange autumn aspens in the mountains of Gunnison County, Colorado. Aspens are more commonly gold in the autumn, so finding this stand of "flaming" orange was a surprising, gorgeous, and unique discovery!
I have been seriously involved in watercolor painting for the last 20 years following retirement from my public school teaching career. I am drawn to detail and favor the use of vivid color. I enjoy painting a variety of subject matter, but the glorious world of nature is what seems to suit me best.
