Foetal nerve cells. Fluorescence light micrograph of neurons (nerve cells) from a human foetus, stained to show tubulin proteins (red), growing over neural stem cells from transgenic (genetically modified) mice. Protein is green and cell nuclei are blue. Magnification x40 when printed 10 centimetres wide.
