Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This photo of Forge Bridge was taken BEFORE I carefully read the POSTED sign, which stated not only was there no hunting or fishing, but that there was absolutely no trespassing on the land around! And a couple of minutes later, the ONE and ONLY vehicle to pass me on the lonely road stopped to remind me of that fact! Luckily, I was already standing on the roadside at that time. The directions to the Forge Covered Bridge in Hardenburgh NY (Ulster County) were a bit sketchy, and the GPS signal was pretty weak. It was raining and getting dark. I tried to fool the GPS with a 'creative' destination point but I wasn't hopeful as I drove through the gathering gloom. Then the GPS said 'you have arrived at your destination', and I looked ahead about 100' and darn if the covered bridge wasn't sitting right there. I was so excited! There are a few places to pull off the road but you have to be careful because the road is narrow. Luckily there isn't alot of traffic. There is little information on...
