The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
Early morning in the desert provides a dramatic sunrise in Fort Mohave, Arizona, which used to be called Bullhead City. Bullhead is still there but it got so large they had to split the town up and created Fort Mohave. The towns sit in a basin with the Colorado River running through the center. On the western banks of the Colorado is Laughlin, Nevada which has 9 casinos along the river bank.
About Glenn DiPaola
I attended the University of Rhode Island where I studied photography under Bart Parker. I graduated with a BFA in fine art photography and a minor in communications. College was always b&w work, hand-processed in the dark room, using many different cameras. It was great fun. After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014. I started converting my color digital images to black and white whenever I saw them as intended for bw. I believe the eye you started with does not go away.
