Artist's Description
My Husband had a stroke a few months ago , when he came home he mentioned a good name for a band in the future for him "Fractured Identity", I don't think he was making the connection with his stroke, but I did and came up with this image. I feel that this can speak for many going through strokes, depression and other illnesses and what they might feel. I hope it will move some people. The stroke has been hard on my husband and I think this painting portrays what he might feel sometimes.

What an amazing piece of art! I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's stroke. This image is very powerful and as a brain tumor survivor, I do hope you will not mind if I share this via Twitter with many who suffer from brain tumors. From my experience, some with brain tumors feel like an absolute shadow of their former selves. I hope for you and your husband much solace and peace in your journey forward. V/FB/T
