This is a window at the entrance to Gillette's Castle in East Haddam Connecticut. The window itself is not square but this is rather a cropping of the rectangular window into a square form. The window is comprised of a large number of small glass shards with sizes increasing in both directions so the smallest fragments are in the bottom left and largest are in the top right.
Currently based in Waterford, Connecticut there are a large number of pictures showing various aspects of life in Connecticut. Yes, Connecticut a state often over looked due to the imposing shadows of Boston and NYC but a great state none the less and so much more than simply the I-95 corridor.
