Franklin Minerals Industrial GE B23-7 #4021 switches cars around their facility in Crab Orchard, Tennessee.

This operation has changed over the years. When I first ran into it, it was purely Norfolk Southern. By the time I made it back in 2007, it was FIMX and they had these classy GEs with the white and grey paint and red trim. Since this shot was taken, the company has changed hands and the red trim has been replaced by blue. I hope to get back over soon as word is the company may be getting tid of the vintage General Electric diesel locomotives.

FIMX #4021 wwas built in April, 1981 for the Southern Railway. It has worn the same number for more than three decades.
