I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

This photograph was taken in 2008 of a statue, entitled "Freedom", located at Riverfront Park, Brandenburg, KY. I believe anyone who views this photo cannot misinterpret its meaning, especially pertaining to slavery and the plight of African-Americans before and during the Civil War.
About Thia Stover
My name is Thia. I'm a self-taught photographer who enjoys expressing realism and impressionism in her photographic work. It was in 2005 that I’d picked up the camera "as a hobby" for the first time. But it wasn’t until 2006, while photographing the Civil War Battle of Perryville [Kentucky] reenactment, that I’d finally found my niche in photography, i.e. capturing images of American historical sites and reenactments. My love for America and her rich history has contributed greatly towards this endeavor. It is my hope that my work would capture the imagination of the viewer and inspire him/her to reflect on America's history and the cost of freedom.
