Gators love their Tebow. This is one of a trio of statues found outside Ben Hill Griffen Stadium at the University of Florida honoring the football team's three Heisman Trophy winners. The Gators unveiled bronze statues of Spurrier (1966), Wuerffel (1996) and Tebow (2007). The thing that stood out was Tebow's depiction. "That's fine," Tebow said. "You have to change it up. We can't all be throwing.". One of college football's greatest players, Tebow had 32 touchdown passes in 2007 and ran for 23 more. He became the first player to score at least 20 touchdowns rushing and passing, then became the first sophomore to win the Heisman. My twin loves of photography and travel emerged early in life. I remember being enchanted by rare trips to an airport to meet an arriving flight, and equally enchanted by a train trip on the California Zephyr from Denver to Salt Lake City. Clearly, I wanted to go places! On these trips I had my trusty Kodak Instamatic camera, with those funky flash cubes! But almost as soon as I could, I was out traveling on my own! Luckily this coincided with an interest in 35 mm photography which I learned on my own and from friends. I can remember taking dozens of rolls of film on every trip...black and white and color in every ISO I thought I'd need!
