There's something truly magical about a grapevine. The grapes are mostly hidden behind the large leaves. Last year my grape harvest was virtually nonexistent, because the backyard critters consumed them. This year we have a love of a cat in the yard. He's a sweetheart, but a little on the feisty side, so the critters are staying away. I love going outside when the evening begins to cool to check on the grapes. I see changes in them every day.
I have a long-standing interest in photography. I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Although a little intimidated, I then ventured into the world of digital photography and I've never looked back. My passion is nature. I started out primarily photographing flowers, plants, and critters that I would find in my garden. I love gardening and the great outdoors.
