This beautiful and sweet piece is the result of many hours of assemblage. Antique and vintage books provided the substance of the collage. Then other parts were painted using watercolor. The little girl is dressed in what appears to be early 1900s clothing - that and her surroundings seem to be from the roaring twenties era. Soft and delicate, this art piece is perfect for a pediatrician's office, a nursery, child's room, or any place where children spend time. Its colors are soothing and reassuring. A lovely piece to be sure. Innocent. Impressionistic. Pure.
