The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Computer model of a geomagnetic storm affecting the Earth's southern hemisphere. Geomagnetic storms occur when eruptions from the Sun's surface send energetic particles toward the Earth. Here colours represent the intensity of the particles interacting with the magnetic field around the South Magnetic Pole in the upper atmosphere. Red is highest intensity, through yellow, green and blue to purple (low intensity). The grey area is the geographical South Pole. Geomagnetic storms can damage communication satellites and affect power grids. They also create nitric oxide in the atmosphere, a gas that affects the atmosphere's heating and cooling.
