Just finished on location June 24 2011, I love to highlight our heritage that which was built before our time juxtapositioned with ideas of today. This charming Main Street scene is typical of Gloucester. Just down the side street leads to the harbor. I caught this at nearly 5:00 pm a good time to paint when it's cooled down a little and there is parking and less people are meandering about not that I don't love to talk to the people but it's just that I don't have to be concerned with the meter maid, she informed me that she missed me on this trip, you only can park 2 hours and it takes way longer than that. But I love it, see more at www.sjordanbahosh.com Thank you
My artistic journey continues to unveil for me new ideals and ways to express myself. What compels me to paint is quintessential New England. I am facinated with our heritage in the creative architecture that depicts the character of each small town. I love boats in the harbor too which speak of the spirit of the sea. I paint the innovative way this generation relates to the past re-claiming antiques and enhancing fence posts with roses. I paint back roads and open spaces and sunsets putting to canvas that which may never be seen quite the same way again. See a major collection online at www.sjordanbahosh.com
I am represented in galleries in New England and have national and regional art memberships including Academic Artist Assn.,...
