The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
I went out for an early morning drive in the Sawtooth Mountain area and notice the beautiful sunrise begin over the Little Redfish Lake. I was lucky to find a nice parking area and a very short walk to the lake edge and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise over the lake. Both were named for the red-scaled sockeye salmon that returned every year to spawn via the Salmon River. The lakes flow into the river via Redfish Lake Creek.
Besides the red-scaled salmon that come to this lake, Little Redfish Lake also has a clay pit, located at the bottom of...
About Robert Bales
I am a retired teacher, coach, and athletic director. While my wife, Judy, and I were teaching she had a photo studio, and I had a dark room where I did black and white and color. Over our 50 years of marriage, we have always had an interest in photography and both of us enjoy taking the photos for this site. I have always used Cannon cameras and now I am using the 7D for most of the...
